Modular units CT-CTX

CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY

The CT series modular units are composed of:

• FRAME in galvanized steel sheet, thickness 20/10 mm.
• Sets of three FUSES type DIII or NH00 curve gG with a high breaking capacity 100 kA, sized to protect each individial capacitor step.
• Three-pole AC6b capacitor duty CONTACTORS, rated for connecting each step.

Their peculiarity lies in the fact that the limiting resistors contacts close in advance of the main contactors, to limit the peak current at the insertion of the residual currents. The contactor coils are 110Vac 50Hz (other voltages available upon request).

• PRT series power CAPACITORS.
• Internal connecting CABLES are flame-retardant FS17.
• Copper BARS size 30×5 mm for connecting a maximum power of 180kvar 400V. For higher powers, 30×10 mm copper bars are used CTX series are without copper bars.

USES

The CT series modular units have been conceived and designed to be
installed extremely easily in automatic power-factor correction equipments.
