CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY

The automatic power-factor correction equipment, RG1 series is composed of:

• Metal CABINET made of sturdy pressed metal sheet treated with a phosphating process to protect against corrosion and then painted with epoxy powders, colour RAL 7035. Hinged doors.
• Main CIRCUIT BREAKER.
• Three-pole AC6b capacitor duty CONTACTORS, rated for connecting each step.

Their peculiarity lies in the fact that the the limiting resistors contacts close in advance of the main contactors, to limit the peak current at the insertion of the residual currents. The contactor coils are 380Vac 50Hz (other voltages available upon request).

• PRT series power CAPACITORS.
• Internal connecting CABLES are flame-retardant FS17. and COPPER BARS.
• ELECTRONIC REGULATOR EPF6T for automatic step switching and cost control.

USES

The RG1 series equipment has been specifically designed for industrial power-factor correction for small-scale operations.

INSTALLATION

• Check correct terminals, bolts and nuts tightening.
• Follow instructions related to installation, connection and periodical maintenance.
